Your Right to Delete Your Data
At Game4Fame, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account directly within the Game4Fame app:
- Open the Game4Fame app
- Go to your Profile
- Tap on Settings (gear icon)
- Scroll down and select "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision by re-entering your password (if using email/password authentication)
- Your account will be permanently deleted
Alternative: Request Deletion via Email
If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion via email, you can contact us at:
support@game4fame.app
Please include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your profile information (name, email, profile photo)
- Your authentication credentials
- Your challenges and participations
- Your followers and following lists
- Your notification preferences
- Your blocked users list
- Your activity history
Data That May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained even after account deletion:
- Chat Messages: Messages you sent to other users may remain visible to those users, though your account will appear as "Deleted User."
- Anonymized Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained for service improvement.
- Legal Obligations: Data required to be retained by law or for legal proceedings.
- Server Backups: Residual copies may temporarily exist in backups but will be purged through normal backup rotation.
Processing Time
Account deletion through the app is immediate. Email requests are processed within 30 days. After deletion, your data cannot be recovered.
Third-Party Data
If you signed up using Google or Apple Sign-In, deleting your Game4Fame account does not affect your Google or Apple account. You may also want to revoke Game4Fame's access through your Google or Apple account settings.
Facebook Data Deletion
If you used Facebook Login to access Game4Fame, you can also request data deletion through Facebook:
- Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy > Settings
- Click on "Apps and Websites"
- Find Game4Fame and click "Remove"
- Check the box to delete your activity
